Surprise and pleasure
For me, one of the most important aspects, if not the most important one, that make garden designing so fascinating, is the satisfaction after the planting, when the plants have all come up and fantasy becomes reality. The surprise and pleasure felt by the garden owners are the crowning joy of one’s work.

Fantasy becomes reality
My designs are never the same, but they do have a signature style, characterised by clean lines and a clear division of space. Sometimes the landscape is punctuated with playful and organic forms. The green, outdoor space can be minimalist in its design, but sometimes also contains warm and exuberant elements.

By deploying the right flavours and scents every garden can be turned into a cornucopia of seductive delights. A garden is not only shaped by its design. It is not complete until real life comes to play in it. To attract plenty of butterflies to the garden, specific plants need to be planted that are generous with their nectar. Additionally, your garden needs a sunny situation, and protection from the wind.
Also build in plenty of hibernation spots. Eggs, caterpillars, pupae and grown butterflies like to stay under old leaves. So let them lie there!
